Life By The Coast

Join us on this extraordinary voyage to discover Emirati heritage, where the past and present intertwine, creating vibrant traditions of Dubai's coastal culture.

Discover how the coast shaped life in Dubai through our weekend programs designed for the family and young children. Learn more about the lives of fishermen, pearl divers, traders and sailors as well as how the sea influenced life on land at the hestoric Al Shindagha neighbourhoud and continues to do so today.

Immerse yourself in the rich maritime heritage that still thrives in the modern-day! Mark your calendar every last weekend of the month and join us at Al Shindagha Museum to explore the fascinating cultural journey of Dubai's coastal life.
